i normally don't get on board easily with trendy stuff but i have seen so much of these resin acrylic chainlink necklace that it's growing on me. it's a simple accessory pretty enough to give a punch of color on a casual tshirt, sheath dress or tunic perfect for spring and summer. a few weeks ago, i scored an inexpensive pink one from a local charming charlie store but i wish the length was longer. so, i searched online and found an amazing collection from everywhere and i was able to pull out some of the standouts ranging from $15 - $200. See which one you like....
old navy $ 15 (online only)
j.crew $ 128
tory burch $ 195 (available in 4 other colors)
vault jewels $ 30.00
the following necklaces below are all from bauble bar.

easter ready
Monday, March 26, 2012
our home is easter ready. thanks to a few finds, i was able to put together quickly a colorful egg easter extravanganza. i spied bags of $0.99 glitter ornament eggs at michaels, picked up a few to dress up my mini-trees. these trees have been a big part of my home holiday decor ever since i received them from my friend, nina. it's been through various major transformation from being a baby shower centerpiece, miniature christmas trees and now it's all spruced up for easter!
i also got a few cartons of confetti eggs from local boutique, abientot and filled my apothecary glass jars with them. i love that they are vibrant in color and the whole easter decor really brightened up our dining room.
what are your plans for easter? do share!

by no means i'm a photographer nor a stylist in real life but i'm loving how my iPhone shots come out using the Instagram app. i love taking photos of interesting lovely pretty things ~ add a little dreamy feature and tiny bokehs (using Picfx app), they come out pretty amazing!

easy easter DIY ideas
Wednesday, March 21, 2012
i need to get my crafting groove back on especially that easter is a few weeks away. last year, i tried my hand in creating these easy projects just in time for easter. today i did some home spring redecorating, so hopefully that translates to more spring cleaning and sprucing for our home and easter crafts for our little boy. i turn to pinterest for inspiration but sad to say, i do a lot of pinning but less doing. i want to change that and really take matters into my own hands and start crafting!
