small space decor

decorating a small space is daunting. making the most of a tiny space needs a whole lot of creativity, strategic choice of accessories and just plain sense of interior design savvy. i am no interior decorator but i sure love a decor challenge.

for any small space, investing on pieces that can multifunction is key. the bright folding sofa bed is a nice focal point in the room. it can be an additional sleeping space as needed. 

keeping accessories to a minimum decreases clutter that makes a room even smaller. a ghost chair is perfect as an accent chair. its clarity makes each space corner see through it's clear limbs. it never hurts to add a nesting lucite side table as well.

mirrors add the illusion of a much bigger space when reflections and light bounce against it. adding them on one wall is ideal. without sacrificing aesthetics, picking out the furniture pieces carefully and keeping in mind each and every purpose it will have makes for a successful small space decorating.
