my fabulous friend ann, who's a kitchen goddess posted this in her instagram feed a few weeks ago. i am a big fan of semi-homemade and quick easy recipes, so this was one i was dying to try.
i harassed her for the recipe and didn't waste time whipping me up one. my version came out to be a delicious hot mess, so i am re-posting ann's gorgeous picture of her microwave brownie in a mug and the recipe is shared below!
microwave brownie in a mug
ingredients :
2 Tbs vegetable oil
2 tbs water
few drops vanilla extract
a dash of salt
a pinch of instant coffee powder (optional)
2 Tbs granulated sugar
2 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
2 Tbs all purpose flour
in a 12 oz coffee mug - mix water, oil, salt, vanilla and coffee. whisk well.
add cocoa powder, whisk well. add sugar, whisk well. add fluor, whisk well.
microwave for 60 - 75 seconds (60 sec for a molten bottom, 75 sec for uniformly done).
enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
