we are a few days a way from the beginning of the "ber" months and even though we are far from experiencing fall here in texas with it's extremely hot and humid weather, i can't help but post a few fall inspiration images that even made me wistfully yearn and long for it's arrival.

a lemonade party is a perfect theme for a summer soiree and that's exactly how sweet baby lanie celebrated her first birthday ~ a lemonade stand-themed party!
lanie's mommy samantha and her friend stephanie creatively collaborated to host this adorable party. i simply love all the yellow lovely details they put together such as the lemonade stand, a monogram front door wreath, lemon fruit-filled glass containers and my favorite ~ the ribbon-adorned dessert table.
the cutest birthday girl in a ruffled outfit her talented mommy samantha made for her!
charming sweet details of burlap and ribbon tied to glass vessels are just darling!
pom ribbons, striped straws and assorted fabrics add pizzazz to the mason jars!
the ruffled cake, lemon bars and cakepops looks delicious!
i LOVE that they added a variety of yellow ribbons on the plain white tablecloth!

i am sharing today photos from my niece anne-marie's 33th birthday celebration. i am loving the yellow and grey motif, such an elegant timeless color combination. centerstage is the incredible macaron tower atop a round fondant cake for the dessert table. of course, i can't boast enough of ailynne's (anne-marie's older sister) crazy photography skills who took all this amazing shots!

i am so grateful for so many friends in the blog world that have shared some of the parties i've worked on in the past and one style blog who featured your's truly for the most important job in the world and that is being a mom and a wife attempting to be effortlessly fabulous amidst house chores and office work!

now for my favorite activity, online shopping ~ i have recently done back to school shopping for aston but i couldn't help but do my own e-shopping even if i've since long graduated from college, lol. i got me an adorable personalized erin condren life planner and i am eyeing those new notepads kelly debuted on her WH Hostess site the other day! the designs are sooo pretty, i am having a hard time picking out one favorite!

i also had fun recently completing an iron-on project of personalized tshirts for aston to wear the first week of school. with new teachers and possibly new classmates, it's hard enough remembering their names.

and lastly, last week i had a blast meeting up with Dawn of not just a mommy!. we met up at dylan's candy bar in the galleria and just chatted all morning. it was a delight to finally meet her and her family including her sister who just opened her cupcake place, kaleidoscope cupcakes. check out my death grip on the cupcakes she brought me! thank you, they were delicious!

last week we featured cady's lovely pristine white dedication reception and this time i am thrilled to share her colorful rainbow 2nd birthday party. hats off to her mommy, my friend gabby for successfully preparing and hosting 2 great parties one week after the other.she never ceases to amaze me. she not only plans the parties, she handmade most party details like the banner, party poms and even baked the desserts as well!
this fun party was at the Little Gym and the kiddos were treated with a rainbow dessert table delight. talented and creative mommy gabby baked the rainbow cake, cupcakes and cake pops!
