framed up [DIY frames]

Saturday, November 6, 2010

when courtney of a thoughtful place hosted her daughter's 4 year old tea birthday party, she made the cutest but inexpensive mod podge frames for the tiny guests. she used $ 1 frames from michaels, paint, scrapbook paper, mod podge and flower decor. they served as part of the party decor and party favors for the little girls as well - i think that is just adorable!

for a full tutorial visit courtney's blog, A THOUGHTFUL PLACE

another frame project that i'm itching to try is a framed monogram first spied from megan at HONEY WE'RE HOME. she created it by using a patterned scrapbook paper as the background, colored paper for the cut-out letters, scrapbook tapes and any frame you may not use at home. it looks like a million bucks - i love it!
