friday faves [unique invitations]

Friday, October 15, 2010

for this week's friday faves, i've round up a few ideas for invitations on your next party. be it big or small, every soiree warrants an invite that gives the guests a glimpse of what the vibe of the party will be. be it a formal shindig or a casual intimate gathering, invitations set the tone of the party. here are some of my favorites. these invitations are fun, unique and of course inviting....

kids will love to decode the invitation details from the this bagged magnetic alphabet birthday invite created by city cradle design! such a cool idea!

these really cute paper baby block birth announcement and invitation design is a genius idea - printed in letterpress, no less! the box can also be brilliantly used as a party favor holder for say a piece of truffle, dragee candies or a cakeball!

Pool party invite from the twins!

my good friend nina sent out these cute beachball invitations for her twins' 1st birthday pool party featured here last july!  we had fun blowing up the beachball to get the important party detail information!

for sharnel's daughter olivia's enchanted forest 6th birthday, she created terrariums to accompany the official invites to the party! such  a great way to capture the spirit of the upcoming party and it get's the little guests all excited!  {image from my life - my loves}

for a little chefs cooking party, a wooden spoon with hanging invite tags serve as the fun unique invitation for this tiny tots fete! so adorable! {image from design dazzle}

Did the beach ball come blown up or was it in an envelope?

It didnt come with envelopes - I think my friend bought it separately
