friday couldn't come any sooner. this week has just been crazy with our bathroom repair underway (which is still halfway from over), catching up with work and fulfilling activities with aston. i am looking forward to some down time with the family and soaking in that next week is already march! whhhattt? 

i foresee getting busier in the next coming weeks and months preparing for spring break, easter, ben's and aston's birthday and finalizing summer camp for our little guy. before you all enjoy your friday and the rest of the weekend, here are a few favorites from this week.....

• homemade sprinkles make every dessert treat a party in itself
• preps for aston's 6th golf birthday party is in full force and i'm pinning all sorts of party inspiration in my board to guide me. you can never be too early planning for it right? 
• can't get this easter tulip arrangement out of my mind. thinking of replicating it for easter sunday brunch
• ok guys, don't judge but i am loving my hue denim leggings (i refuse to call them jeggings). it has enough stretch for comfort but still maintains its shape and holds in every bulge you may have in your body. i have it in dark denim, grey, foil print and the lacquer (leather-look) finish ~ i have them on rotation
• favorite shopping lust items for the week - this bag, these monogrammed notecards and i finally made this rose gold coral ring mine. it's perfect for spring and summer!
• and speaking of shopping, my closet spring cleaning is far from over ~ so visit my goodsie resale shop and see if you spot something you like. i'm constantly adding items so keep checking!

it has been cold, dark and dreary this week but thankfully the last two days were sunnier and getting out of bed was so much easier. today i thought i'd do a week wrap up of some of my favorite things in the www. btw, don't you wish you're out with loved ones at the beach and soaking all the white sand, sun and blue crystal waters?  

• am i the only one looking at perfect spring outfits such as this? royal blue and black stripes is sheer perfection! 
• and that goes along with shoes too such as this ballerina wedge and this dotted plimsolls. fun party on your feet! 
• here's an easy tutorial (that may look complicated) to making a glitter banner shared by nancy. everyone needs a glitter banner!
• i wish i'm crafty and creative as grace ~ this gorgeous bib necklace DIY tutorial is a must-try!
• i am in the process of cleaning up and redesigning my blog design with my go-to awesome design gal shalon and if you're considering to do a blog facelift, consider these tips. 
• after the holidays, i miss baking and i think i'd love to try this next - anything with nutella, sea salt and peanut butter combined spells irresistible yuminess!
• and lastly, would you embrace the polkadot trend and extend it to your bedroom wall? how about a gold chevron wall? gorgeous!

unexpected

life would be a bit boring if things happen accordingly. don't you agree if i say that unexpected things make life a little exciting? here are just a few surprises.....

wearing jewels and lace under a trenchcoat that looks all business

vegetables as a beautiful arrangement along with lovely flowers

empty wine bottles as candle holders - tie a ribbon and bunch them together for an amazing table centerpiece

chalkboard paint in your bathroom, of all places? why not? 

wearing pink sneakers under a sea of tulle especially if it's your wedding gown skirt

and a giant confetti wall will be the most fun of all!

i'm sure you've seen and heard about longchamp's le pliage tote that comes in all delicious colors. made of  nylon canvas with PVC interior lining, it is water-resistant. it's also collapsible making it the perfect travel tote. the le pliage tote for me i think is a must-have in your handbag wardrobe. it has served me well for my travels and certainly not short in style. it has the classic non-fuss shape and that's what i love about it. oh by the way, want to add a monogram or name and customize it with your favorite colors? you can customize your own!

this is what i ordered almost 5 years ago when our son was born. meant to be a diaper bag, i picked the biggest size with the longest handles (to easy carry over the shoulder) and chose the light and dark blue combo with our son's name on it. after all these years and miles of travelling, i am happy to report that it still holds up pretty well. a very durable tote, perfect for travelling!
