hello december

i hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving break. we had several days off and it was lovely! 

the beginning of thanksgiving week, we drove to grapevine, texas (the christmas capital of texas). it was freezing so we opted to just stay at the gorgeous gaylord hotel and enjoyed the beautiful holiday decor and endless activities they had for the entire family. it was a nice break before thanksgiving day. 

 the rest of the weekend was spent holiday decorating the house and just relaxing with the family. i did a few online black friday shopping and that was about it!

i thought it was timely to share a few tree trimmings and christmas decor here in case you're still sprucing your home in time for christmas in a few weeks!
