summer favorites

we're slowly easing ourselves and getting used to the summer heat. year after year it hits us but we still can never get used to it. it's brutal! 

we've signed up aston  for more swim lessons to beat the heat and i'm stocking up our fridge with frozen yogurt, ice cream, popsicles to snack on when we get home. if i can wear shorts to work i would but it's loose tops, blouses and linen pants for me for days when i'm at the office and saving the shorts on weekends. what other tricks do you have to beat the summer heat?
