pink and yellow birthday party

Friday, November 18, 2011

it is such a treat to feature amanda's daughter's birthday in the blog today. amanda is a talented interior designer here in texas and i have been stalking her blog (and twitter) and just be amazed by her beautiful work. naturally, her daughter's 9th birthday party was darling and i am so excited to share them here today!

her daughter invited a few girlfriends for some girly fun time and cupcakes.
for a sweet soiree ambiance, amanda used decor already existing in her home with some additonal details such as the damask fabric used for the dessert table backdrop. even her lamps get to be dressed up for the occasion and were used to achor the table!

she lined up pretty daisies arranged in pink vases (can't get over the fact they are from the dollar store) on a striped tablerunner for a really feminine touch perfect for the color scheme and party theme!

to coordinate with the color scheme, she served pink and yellow sweet treats in elegant glasswares!

i just love this color palette and works very well for a baby or bridal shower!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
