airplane orange birthday party

Thursday, September 22, 2011

i am thrilled to feature today another of clemens of clemens designs parties. this time it is of clemens' baby boy's 2nd birthday party. her parties are always full of creative DIY projects and darling sweet touches!

she recently opened her etsy store and i am simply amazed that with her busy schedule, she was able to put together this adorable orange airplane party for her little boy! check out the party pictures taken by no less than the talented  pam rodrigues

clemens used fun polka dotted paper for the paper airplanes and was used all throughout the party!

creative tablecenterpieces of paper airplanes on sticks!

cutest packaging of candies in tubes with the coordinating paper planes!

instead of a dessert table, clemens gathered all the treats and goodies on a "cubed display". LOVE this idea!

tiny guests get to take home "suitcases" made out of cardboard paper. handstitched, personalized and dressed up by clemens! clever way of adding custom touches to an otherwise simple cardboard box suitcase!

and finally, the divine cake with mini paper airplane bunting ~ so cute!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSHUA!

Love those party hats! I am so into those lately. I made custom ones for Lauren's party this year and had so much fun making them.

Love this party! My son is very much into airplanes and keeps telling me his next party (which is next August...ha, ha!) will be an airplane party or a dinosaur party! I would love for you to do a tutorial on how to make awesome hats! I have a bunch of fab papers and want to make some, but for some reason mine come out too small for resting on the head. Also, love the orange in this party (my favorite accent color!)

Those candy tubes are fantastic! This color palette could be translated in so many ways, but the airplane theme is just adorable!

Lili, once again, thank you so much for featuring Josh's 2nd birthday here!! This party was so much fun to plan because it was the theme he choose, so I knew that at the end he was going to enjoy it.
I can;t wait for his request for next year :)

PS:I added the hats and the candy tubes to my Etsy shop.
