to end this perfect weekend, i have an amazing party to share from one very talented creative mom, cat of constant in chaos. i first read about this amazing play kitchen in her blog, which cat's husband built for their daughter on her birthday. i was blown away - i thought it came from land of the nod or PB kids! nooooo - they built it! i dont know which inspiration came first - her first birthday tea party theme or the vintage-inspired play kitchen in pink! it is out of this world beautiful....
but before that, let's get to the party first. cat did all of the decor. i love this painted twigs with butterflies and decoupaged letters of the celebrant's name. so sweet. the little arrangements of pink roses on silver and glass vases are just lovely!
i think every tea party should mail out extra special letterpressed invitations. so ladylike and proper ~ !
cat has a knack for creating exquisite vignettes as this floral arrangement on silver vases atop a pile of children's books. i love it when she used the silver teapot and julep cups to hold flowers and pink straws!
there are more beautiful pictures to share but i will direct you to her blog now for more eye candy. and here's that vintage-inspired play kitchen i mentioned earlier, be prepared to swoon! next time, i'll share her little boy's tailgaiting party. if you're a boy mom like me, that's something to look forward to!
