a ballerina party

i am so thrilled to be helping out my friend katherine prepare for her precious daughter ava's ballerina-themed birthday party this coming july. i don't have a daughter so, i'm so excited to be dreaming of girly frills and sweet pink details! 

we envisioned lots of tulle swags and pompoms, a ruffle or rosette ombre cake, rhinestones and pink blooms. we can't forget the little boys, so the knights and magic display will make an appearance especially for them!

a spring fling

YAY, it's already april! 

spring is in full swing and summer is not too far. that also mean tons of birthdays and celebrations coming up in the radar amongst my family and friends and it's such an exciting time! 

today i'd like to share a few spring (and also summer) tablescape inspiration that sure is spectacular. lots of color splashes and flower blooms as focal point of the party. a mixture of floral patterns and shapes (round lanterns and square pastel plates) add a gorgeous dimension to layers of spring theme decor.
