spring break travel look

i've decided to do a blog series of kids street style stemming from aston's rodeo outfit post. he loves hamming it up to the camera (in this case, iphone cam) and is totally loving the attention. this 5 year old is also becoming a teenager in record speed and i am so sad. he now loves skateboards (finger skateboards are what we allow him to play) and basketball. no more superheroes or dinosaurs.

we travelled by plane last week and he insisted on wearing a hoodie coming back (but i forced him on preppy khakis and sweater on the way to vegas) and like any normal 5 yr olds, his backpack filled was with crackers and coloring books. he has been pretty behaved travelling nowadays and with those necessities, he has been an angel!

weekend scenes

last thursday we flew to vegas to join my husband who's attending a course out there. aston's spring break was about to start (officially starts today) so we decided to tag along. here are a few iPhone shots to share : 

it was a pleasant trip despite the unfamiliar cold and rainy vegas weather. the bellagio conservatory is always a must-see everytime we go so we headed out there to admire the spectacular spring flora display ~ it was so gorgeous! we are flying home today, go back to work for a few days and then head out again to end the spring break week!
