so, i happen to stumble into this soft comfy sweater last week at a nearby ann taylor loft store. it was on sale with an extra 40% off. for under $40, it feels luxurious and the cut and look gives it an edgy feel but not very stiff. i cant wait to wear mine during the colder days in the winter (or next week where they predict weather under 60s!)!

a DIY birthday party

today i am proudly showcasing my friend sooae's daughter's birthday party filled with incredible DIY details. the gorgeous sooae is such an amazing and talented mom and it shows in this birthday party she lovingly prepared for her daughter. 

i am in love with the vintage design details and the pretty pink and white color palette. she baked the beautiful cake, cookies and cakepops. she also made aprons and adorned them with cute personalized banners for all the little guests!

sooae also had time to make paper flower poms herself and scattered them everywhere in her home for the party!

the cakepops she baked where beautifully displayed in a stand and adorned with vintage-looking clothes pins! such a darling touch!

they had a cookie decorating session and all little guests get to take home an apron she decorated with personalized banners!

party favors were cookie decorating kits - so perfect for the theme! 

sooae also designed the label tags too! 

as the birthday girl requested ~ the gorgeous vanilla, chocolate and strawberry birthday cake for chloe!
