These are all take offs from the French stacked "petit four". Traditionally they are soaked in flavored syrups, topped with marzipan and coated with poured fondant so you can see the actual cake layers and colored marzipan through the delcious coating. When they are made from scratch they are divine. This along with macarons are my favourite desserts to serve at dinner parties
Oh, they are all are so beautiful!!! I love the ones wrapped as presents and the monogrammed ones, too!!!
